COLORIZE EFFECT
Colorizing is just a $2 word for ...changing the color of a picture. Pretty simple, will probably take you a minute to do.

1.) Pick a picture... ...I picked Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance. Make sure the layer isn't locked... if it is, to unlock it, click and drag the locked layer to the button next to the trash button on the layer pallette. A duplicate unlocked layer will appear above the locked layer. Once you see that, click and drag the locked layer to the trash button on your layer pallette.

2.) Now go to Image >> Adjustments >> Desaturate... This should turn your picture "Black and White" ... Desaturate = Black and White... remember that. lol

3.) Now go to Image >> Adjustments >> Hue/Saturation...

4.) A window should pop up after selecting that. Check the box in the bottom right hand corner for "Colorize" and move the TOP slider only... left or right to choose the color you want. I chose blue... so here we go.

5.) Click OK and now your done...

GO BACK.
