ABOUT INFINITE ALCHEMY |
 I started Infinite Alchemy out of sheer boredom. I lost interest in my last few projects and needed an outlet for my creative spirit. I joined a forum which rekindled my love for graphic design while simultaneously striking an interest in graphic design in my peers. I had started to post tips, tricks, and tutorials on how to do graphics and figured that it's time for me to restart an old project (originally called, "Out of Mind"). Before I could even restart it, I lost my domain due to not following rules (that weren't addressed to me, I might add) and had to purchase a new one (thanks to my mom's roommate, Roland). One afternoon, a friend of mine and my fellow "ghostie" buddy, Emmy, were brainstorming as to what I should call my new domain. My friend thought that Infinite Alchemy would sound good, and we all agreed. Not much of a story, but it's how the site got it's name. The purpose of Infinite Alchemy being online is to allow visitors of my other sites to get to know who I am, read up on what's going on with me, and learn how to do what I apparently know how to do best. I'd like to think of Infinite Alchemy as a free look into how I do certain graphics as well as give you a few pointers on how to run a site and how to create certain effects on your images. I figured I've put in a good 9 years into this and I don't like how secretive some site runners are with their work. When I first started out, I did everything on my own as my fellow webmasters and webmistresses did not offer the slightest bit of help on my end. When I started developing a small "following," I learned not to treat them the way I was treated so I helped them with whatever they need. I like to instill that philosophy in those of you who are starting out as I continue to help as much as I can to this day. GO BACK. |
