[..] I have a rather large family. Though people may think that having a big family means that you're never alone is great... well, they're wrong. I hate having a large family. People have a tendency to pick sides when working it out is supposed to be Plan A. Plus, people are overrated. Sometimes it's nice to have some form of solitude. [..] I'm pretty introverted. I don't do well in social situations nor do I enjoy them. I have friends, however, I prefer to be alone. It's not that I feel uncomfortable, it's just the way I am. [..] I have a rather long list of things that peeve me. I could recite my list, but we'd be here all night. [..] Cartoons are the shit! 'Nuff said. [..] I became an aunt at the age of 6. So yes, I have a 16-year-old niece. I adore her to death, and I hope to see her again one day. When she was two, my older sister let her go with my aunt whom allowed her husband's sister to foster my niece. I don't carry any malice towards them for they have raised my niece well, however, it'd be nice to see her at least ONCE during a visit to my aunt's house. [..] I got my appendix taken out when I was 10. Cucumber seeds got stuck and ruptured my appendix. It took exactly ONE day for my mom to realize there's something seriously wrong. Had she not come to that conclusion, I'd be dead by now. [..] I have a scar above my right eye that resulted from an incident involving me and the edge of a coffee table. I have no recollection whatsoever as to what happened between the point of impact to the moment I recovered. [..] I'm not a big sports fan. I used to be, but I feel people who are athletically talented are overly paid and have no right to be. [..] I'm a big ass science geek. I tend to incorporate my knowledge of science in everyday life almost always. Yes, it gets annoying, but it explains a lot. [..] I favor books over movies and TV. Now, I don't hate TV or movies. I just get better story lines from books. My favorite author is Harlen Coben. The man is sheer genius. I also love graphic novels. [..] The only TV shows I watch are: Bones, House, Roseanne, George Lopez, South Park, Simpsons, Family Guy, Two and a Half Men, and Golden Girls. Occasionally, I'll watch ER. I most definitely enjoy documentaries involving forensic science, history or science. [..] My favorite movies consist of most John Hughes movies, Butterfly Effect, Anchorman, Accepted, Knocked Up, Superbad, the X-men trilogy, and so on. [..] I plan on becoming a doctor no matter what it takes. I did at one point think about getting my Ph.D. which is still a possibility to this day, but we'll see 10 years from now. [..] I have been here at Eastern Illinois University for nearly 4 years going on 5. I took an extra year by choice because of my double minor. [..] I'm a Biological Sciences major with a double minor in Chemistry and Psychology. Graduate school is my next move in life, but we'll have to see what happens. [..] My heroes consist of my favorite stand-up comics: George Carlin, George Lopez, and Lewis Black. [..] Improv comedy is still funny to me. My favorite improv comics are Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie, Greg Proops, Jeff Davis, and Brad Sherwood. [..] Some of my favorite movie actos are Steve Carrell, Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen and Jonah Hill. [..] I've been a web designer for 9 years and a graphic designer for 7 years. I started when I was 13 and have been doing this still to this day. [..] I love all things rock: Punk, emo, screamo, hardcore, classic, hard, etc. I, also, have a soft spot for oldies, blues, and jazz. [..] I think MTV is the devil. Music television is an inaccurate name for a channel that's all about everything BUT music. [..] Politically, I'm an independent that leans towards the democratic side. I'm pro-choice, for the death penalty, and anti-war. I'm an avid supporter of Gay, Lesbian, and Transgender rights, animal rights, and eco-friendly products. [..] I strongly support charitable organizations such as The ONE Campaign, To Write Love On Her Arms, Stop Global Warming, and Invisible Children. GO BACK. |
